Overview
T.G.I. (Thank God It’s) Fridays is a chain of casual, full service restaurants known for their wild décor and signature Jack Daniels brand whiskey steaks, chicken and ribs. The restaurant serves a full menu of American-style entrees, which include appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, BBQ ribs, chicken, shrimp, fish, Loaded Potato Skins, side dishes, salads and desserts. Each location features a bar area. The first T.G.I. Fridays was opened in 1965 by Alan Stillman in New York City and it quickly became a hit with the young, professional crowd. Carlson Companies acquired the chain in 1975. Today, T.G.I. Friday’s offers 928 locations in 44 states and 61 countries.
