My name is Martina Brieskova and I am currently studying MSc in International Hotel and Resort Management at Oxford Brookes University, the United Kingdom. At present I am doing my dissertation research on the topic: How corporate level of big hotel groups implements Anti-money laundering (AML) legislative policies across the organization. Through my preliminary study of AML legislation and available literature I realized how important it is to have the effective tools and strategies in place for minimizing the impact of risks that money laundering brings (legal, financial, reputational damage). I sincerely hope I will get an opportunity to visit your head office and interview the company expert(s) appointed in developing AML programs to get a deeper understanding of these processes within the context of the hotel industry. In return for your participation in the research I am willing to provide you with a report with general findings that you will find helpful information for your organization. The field research is planned for May 2011. Please note that the interview will take no longer than 1 hour and all information provided will be strictly confidential and used for dissertation purposes only.
